MyBusRouting SMS Terms & Conditions


These SMS Terms & Conditions apply to text messages sent by MyBusRouting related to our school transportation routing services.

Program Description

MyBusRouting may send SMS messages for account verification, transportation alerts, parent notifications, driver notifications, route updates, meeting reminders, support messages, route generation notices, route completion notices, and other service-related communications.

Opt-In

Users may opt in to receive SMS messages by providing a mobile phone number while creating or managing a MyBusRouting account, driver profile, parent contact, transportation notification setting, meeting request, or related service workflow.

For public signup phone verification, users opt in on the signup page by checking a separate SMS consent checkbox that is unchecked by default: I agree to receive a one-time SMS verification code from MyBusRouting. Message and data rates may apply. The user then receives a 6-digit verification code and must enter that code before the account is created.

By providing a mobile phone number and opting in to SMS communications, you agree to receive service-related text messages from MyBusRouting. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity, route activity, notification settings, and transportation events.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply for any SMS messages sent to you from MyBusRouting and from you to MyBusRouting. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Opt-Out Instructions

You can cancel SMS service at any time. Text STOP to opt out. After you send STOP, we may send one final SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from MyBusRouting unless you opt in again.

Carrier Disclaimer

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier, network availability, and other factors outside of MyBusRouting's control.

Privacy

Mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, and SMS opt-in data will not be sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
